Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) Program 2013

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) offers the Scholarships Program (Human Resource Development Scholarship: JDS) under the Grant Aid of Official Development Assistance (ODA) of the Government of Japan. The objective of JDS Program is to support human resource development of Cambodia, targeting highly capable, young government officials and others who are expected to engage in formulating and implementing social and economic development plans and become leaders after earning Master’s degree (English course) in Japan.

Study Component (Study Course)
Master Course in English:
1. Legal and Judicial Development
2. Improving Local and Central Administrative Functions
3. Developing Closer International Relationship between Asian Countries
4. Improving of Social and Economic Infrastructure
5. Promotion of Industry and Mining Development
6. Promotion of Economic Development
7. Agriculture and Rural Development
8. Support for the Education Sector
* Duration: 1 - 2 years course (depends on the accepting Universities) from August 2013

       Requirement
1.      Academic Background: University Graduate (Bachelor Holder)
2.      Age: Between the ages of 22 and 39 as of April 1, 2013
3.      Working Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as a full-time staff at the respective target organizations (Except Contract Staff)
4.      English Level: Advanced English language skills. TOEFL 500/ IELTS 5.5 is preferable. (Official score is NOT required upon the application)
5.      Health: Be in good mental and physical condition
